I drink tea on a daily basis, but coffee is something I tend to reserve more for weekends. This all changed with my first bag of Pact coffee. A friend recommended it and gave me a code so that I could try a bag for just £1. It was like discovering a new drink entirely. My first bag was 'Fruit and Nut Espresso' (self-explanatory), and then I tried 'Planalto', which had elements of malt. The next one I'm having is 'Fazenda Sertao', which promises to hint at apricot and apple compote.
You can choose whether to have the coffee pre-ground, or to have the beans for you to grind at home. I have been ordering the beans, but think I'll switch to having it pre-ground. Changes are so simple to do, just the click of a button.
My new gingham table cloth was from the car boot sale, just £2, still in its packet, never used.
You can choose everything else - from the frequency of your deliveries, to whether you want decaf or not, and whether you want coffee that's best for a cafetiere, stovetop, aeropress etc. I use a stovetop at home to make coffee. We have about 5 of them, in different sizes!
I went from just having one cup of coffee on a Saturday or Sunday to about three cups on those days, and a sneaky cup when I got home from work on weekdays. The husband-to-be started getting coffee-induced shortness of breath, and we had to make a pact (boom boom!) to limit ourselves to no more than two cups a day.
They say it's "the best coffee you've ever made" and I agree wholeheartedly. Customer service has been first-rate, with follow-up emails checking if I've had any issues. Unlike other subscription companies (and I've tried lots, from snacks to magazines) they make it really easy for you to unsubscribe by providing a large red button with 'cancel my account' on it. It's that simple.
I can offer all my readers a trial bag of Pact Coffee for just £1 if you follow this link:
Or you can note this code SARAH-E2GQ7A. I warn you - you'll never be able to drink any other coffee again!
