Every surface of Plaza Espana seems to be decorated in some way, whether it's the fabulous ceramic tiles, or ornate stonework. There are dozens of little alcoves, each representing a region, so that expo visitors could have their photo taken against 'Portugal' or 'Andalucia' or wherever they were from. They make good little places now to sit and cool off whilst watching the tourists with their selfie-sticks.
Walking around in the heat demands a lightweight cover-up for me, to prevent me burning to a crisp. Silk is my fabric of choice for these conditions, particularly in smart places like Seville. It helps me look half decent when I'm wearing no make-up and my hair is plastered to my face! I really do find it hard to maintain much of a vintage look in any substantial heat. If anyone has any tips I'd gladly receive them!
