This shoot may look like it was done at a remote location, but the spot is on a well-travelled mountain route, and we were subject to the worst heckling we've ever had! My husband had to keep re-taking photos as I was laughing so much, which wasn't in keeping with the overcast mood of the shoot. The youths left after a short while - short attention spans these days are a benefit to the blogger on location it seems.
At the time of this shoot I actually thought it was time to pack the shorts away until next year. However, a last-minute booking to Spain for a week of sunshine has given the shorts a reprieve! They'll be happy. I'll be happy. And perhaps ready finally for Autumn when I return.
Those photographs are lovely and well worth the effort! Oh, a trip to Spain: how lucky you are! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes I am lucky indeed to get a last bit of sun!!
DeleteBeautiful photos, I love the overall feeling these have, although I'd rather have joyful autumnal photos than depressing :D I like autumn (not the rain), the cooling days and the little sunshine we still have left until it's winter. Happy holiday, enjoy your stay in Spain! x
ReplyDeleteHa, my next Autumn shoot will show me smiling, promise!!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous shoot! You are very skilled at capturing atmosphere and emotions via your photos.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for sticking with it despite the harassment. I'm sure I would have run off immediately.
bisous

I'm made of stiff stuff (90% gin). Thanks, we do try to get a bit arty now and again! X
DeleteYou're very brave to carry on being photographed despite the heckling.
ReplyDeleteI am not in the mood for autumn this year at all, despite Halloween and Thadingyut coming up. I cannot be doing with it. I want sunshine and flowers!
It does feel that Autumn has come too soon this year :( I still have summer things I want to wear!!
DeleteOh such wonderful photos and photoshoot, love the black and white shots! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIt's good you were laughing about the heckling and not getting angry, which tends to be my reaction :D Very arty indeed, look at you being a super glam model ;) But let's stop talking about summer ending because this is seriously my most depressed time of year, I can't stand the start of autumn because it means there's a whole year until the next summer! Waaaah!! xxx
ReplyDeleteLast night it was dark when I came out of my yoga class and raining :( Really feels like summer is at an end. I think this year I am finding the thought of October more depressing than I found February! X
DeleteThe forecasts suggest you will not need to go to Spain! I love this outfit and the fabulous photos - with such fun poses and looks. I am massively looking forward to Autumn and the clothes that go with the transition. Kx
ReplyDeleteThe sun didn't last here in the UK so I am so glad we went to Spain! Ypu are right though that there are some good clothes to look forward to.
DeleteI think that was a blip, it's looking hot, hot, hot for the rest of the week - get your maxis back out!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. You don't half remind me of Cerys Matthews in black and white, same killer cheekbones. xxx
Oo, I've never had that comparison before! X
DeleteYour shoots are always so artsy and cool! Well doe for laughing off the heckelers, I think I'd hide!
ReplyDeleteI blame the sheer volume of Vogue issues I've been reading, I want to do more arty shoots! So much fun. X
DeleteStunning photos! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely x
DeleteThese pictures do look very autumnal indeed! The black and white really adds another dimension to the atmosphere here. Enjoy your hols and the last bit of sunshine to be seen for a while! I'm completely green with the envy!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shoot - the mood here is vivid and soulful, and definitely captures a sense of parting ways with something deeply cherished.
ReplyDeletexoxo ♥ Jessica
French New Wave chic! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit jealous of your early autumn, actually - we've had a really hot summer here, and I'm so ready for fall that it's not even funny. Give me tights and sweaters! Give me cute, furry jackets like the one that you're wearing here! (Don't give me the hecklers, though, I might punch them in the mouth.)
