Good morning everyone! Today's photos are hot off the press - that is, they were taken half an hour ago. I hadn't prepared a post in advance because it was a particularly manic week. This is a very 'real' outfit that wasn't planned. The clothes were actually picked up off the bedroom floor, from where I threw them last night. My justification is that I'm not going anywhere today except the supermarket, and I'm probably going to have to get changed into my DIY clothes soon anyway - after brunch I'll be pottering around house and garden, ticking off a myriad of little jobs. Paint the shed. Re-pot some plants. Put some things up the attic. Not exciting, but I'm happy with that!

Looks good to me! Is that were you live?
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy! Yes that's my valley in a rare bit of sunshine!
DeleteI'm loving your casual Sunday outfit, it doesn't look at all as it it was picked up off the bedroom floor ;-) The Swedish Hasbeens are divine, must get myself a pair. xxx
ReplyDeleteLove your Swedish Hasbeens! I really love my red ones but after wearing them loads they still haven't broken in and kill my feet after a few hours of wearing. How do you find yours? xx
ReplyDeleteKnowing we have the same pair, but I also have several other pairs of Hasbeens, I can definitely say that the heart pair is a bit harder to wear in and they've never reached the same comfort levels as my other pairs! The hearts are harder leather and the thin ankle strap seems stiffer too. All my other pairs have worn in to be comfy but those I still sometimes get blisters from. I think it must be that style specifically! x
DeleteThis looks like a fantastic weekend outfit! Thanks for your kind words on my blog, and for linking up. XO

Huge stamp of approval on any outfit with Swedish Hasbeens and a denim pencil skirt, of course :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou manage to look so casually elegant even without planning! The skirt is such a good shape on you and there's something perfect about it with the shoes. K
ReplyDeleteThat outfit looks fabulous despite it spending a night on the floor!
ReplyDeletewasn't yesterday's sunshine a wonderful respite from the incessant rain and gloom? The view from your steps is stunning. xxx
HOT!!! Love this whole look. That denim pencil skirt is va-va voom!

For an unplanned outfit, it sure looks cute! I love that first photo - you look like such a bombshell! I wish I looked this good when I just picked up clothes off the floor, but that tends to involve something like a cut off pair of shorts and one of Brian's t-shirts.
ReplyDeleteI love your super quick outfit! It's nice to see "everyday" outfits, as well as the more thought out and fancier ones.
